More Makenna

What's up, world? Today I have another Makenna picture to show you. Here she looks just a bit older. The deviant did a good job just going from half a reference!

I have a couple projects in the works that once I post them on deviantArt, I'll link them here... Or perhaps I'll post them here too? I'm not sure how that will work yet, but just be on the look out for them.

On another note, my next goal is to get Thiranos: Born of Fire looking pristine up through the first three chapters. Then, hopefully, by the end of October I'll be actively querying for an agent! I'm so excited to receive rejections!

As a side note to my other note, I just wanted to remind everyone I'll be on vacation the 21st-27th. I may have intermittent Internet access or none at all. We'll see. Hopefully, I'll get a lot of work done on my side project!

Ludichrom, Hearts, Stars, Horseshoes

This first picture is Ludichrom as a traditional Leprechaun. He wants you to eat his delicious cereal, but only if you can catch him on his red balloon! Haha, seriously, he's super cute here and super happy as well!

Next, we have this cute little head shot of Makenna! She is just super cute! Love her little smile and big eyes!

I'm still not sure about the internet during my vacation, but if there is going to be a problem, it will present itself from the 23rd-26th. Hopefully, there won't be a problem at all, but that remains to be seen. I'm getting my new laptop soon! Hurray! In other words, I'm going to be super distracted...

Pure Magic!

Here's a lovely little piece that a deviant did for me! It's Ludichrom, but this piece is so much different than the other ones! I love how he drew him from behind like he is just waiting to take on whatever comes out of the darkness. I know Ludichrom isn't the main character in my book, but Ludichrom is definitely my favorite! Oh, yes, he is so much more of a deeper character than is shown in the book.

Anyway, check out that ax! A clover ax? How cool! Leprechauns eat clover, so I can imagine him swinging that thing and yelling, "Eat this!" Love it! The rainbow effect is pretty amazing too. Really set the mood of the Leprechaun!

Just a random thought, how cool would it be to have a double clover ax? When you put them together they would be a four-leaf clover!

I finished typing the second book! Huzzah! Now, if only I could make my mind stop racing and thinking of things so I can take a short break from it... Not gonna happen. Oh, well!

Request Dump!

I have a ton of awesome art to post for you guys! (You know, you random people who just happen upon my blog from dA or google - Love you guys!)

Here's the first one, we have a sketch dump with Ludichrom hidden in there. 10 points if you can spot him! Haha! He looks like he means business here! I like the size that she made him. For once we can see his size compared to others. He's supposed to be able 3-4ft. which is a little bit bigger than traditional Leprechauns. These Leprechauns mean business though!

Next, we have the cutest depiction of Ludichrom I have seen yet! Ludichrom is shrunk down even more to chibi size! He really is just the cutest darned thing here. I mean, admit it, you want to pinch those little cheeks! And those feet? And that pose! All adorable!

Here we have another lovely group of sketches with a hidden Thiranos character. At the bottom right you will see Scotty creepin' with his shirt off (nothing out of the ordinary, right?) He just looks like he's a fun guy! I would totally be his friend... And maybe more if he asked! -^.^-

Lastly, we come to a super special sketch! All three of our main characters too time out of their busy schedules to grace us with their presence! May I present to you Brady, Makenna, and Scotty! Brady is looking shy (and hobbit-like) while Makenna is just being adorable (she bites, though.) And, of course, Scotty doesn't have his shirt on (male model anyone?) I love it!

There are more coming in the near future, so be on the look out for them! As per an update on my goals, I am so close to the end of the sequel that I could touch it! I could easily finish it today if my brain lets me! We'll see... I am going on vacation the 21st-27th, and there is a chance I'll be without internet. I am also getting an Alienware laptop soon, sooo.... Yeah, I might be really distracted in the near future. That's why I'm trying to finish the sequel as soon as possible. I also have the Sims 4, given to me by my hubby for my soon-birthday. I might actually do a review on it here just as a break in the pace. I'll have pictures and everything! Watch for it!

Scotty and Goals

Here's a nice picture of Scotty. I don't have very many of him, so I savor them when I get them! He's pretty cute in here with short hair!

I also have another awesome picture it display of another rare character, Makenna! Here, she is third from the left in this picture. I got to watch this being drawn over JoinMe, so that made it extra awesome! Here she's displaying her abnormal strength and jumping abilities. The ground crumbles beneath her!

So.... This home stretch is really, really hard for me right now because I have so much other stuff on my plate. I've been stressed from all sides of life, and I don't want to make my writing something that is stressful as well. I do feel like I need to finish this book before I start querying, but my mind has already ended the series as well as gone to the spin-offs I have in mind! Gosh! So much to write! My ultimate goal in this is to have one book published. Just one. If I don't get any of the others published, then my children will have something nice to read when they get older. I have a story to tell, and dagblameit, I'm going to tell it!
